FACT CHECK: Trump's pick for surgeon general, Dr. Janette Nesheiwat, praised COVID "vaccines," calling them "a gift from God"

Conservatives are reeling with disgust after President-elect Donald Trump chose Dr. Janette Nesheiwat to be his surgeon general, this despite the fact that this woman praised Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) "vaccines" as "a gift from God." After President Trump, during his last term, announced Operation Warp Speed as the fast track to mass vaccinations, Dr. Nesheiwat wrote an op-ed for Fox News urging conservatives to get jabbed, stating that "this is our path out of the pandemic." "I am optimistic we are on our way to ending the needless loss of lives from the coronavirus," Dr. Nesheiwat added, calling the advent of COVID injections "nothing short of miraculous." "We have many vaccines in existence that treat a variety of non-life threatening [sic] diseases but to have a COVID vaccine, i.e., a Pfizer or Moderna mRNA that will actually save you from dying is a gift from God," she continued. "This is our path out of the pandemic." (Related: Did you know that Starr County, Tex., is offering Trump 1,400 acres to build a mass deportation camp for processing and deporting illegal aliens?)

Remember when Dr. Nesheiwat praised Facebook for censoring "anti-vaxx" information?

Dr. Nesheiwat also appeared on Fox News' "Mornings with Maria" to discuss how excited she was at the time to hear that Mark Zuckerberg's Facebook had begun to censor truthful information about the dangers of COVID jabs. "First of all, vaccines save lives," Dr. Nesheiwat declared without a second thought. "And I am so excited and I thank and commend Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg for taking action because this affects everyone!" Dr. Nesheiwat continued in her fearmongering rant to play the but think about the children! card, referencing a "recent measles outbreak" and claiming that it was "the biggest one that we've had in decades" because too many Americans are foregoing vaccinations. "And that's no joke," she said about the measles outbreak. "Measles can cause brain inflammation, pneumonia, and ear infections, hearing loss, and death, so it's about time they are taking action and I hope and pray that other social media platforms will follow suit and do the same." Dr. Nesheiwat apparently missed that famous episode of The Brady Bunch in which the characters talk about measles as being no more of a threat than chickenpox – watch the clip below: "The Senate should NOT confirm her," tweeted Liz Wheeler (@Liz_Wheeler) about Dr. Nesheiwat. "Tag your Senator." "Slow down, Donald," tweeted another. "We've been down this road before. Give Ben (Carson) a call." Someone else argued that surgeon general, at least at the federal level, is "a throwaway position" that does not really matter anyway because it is "a powerless advisory role." "Let her keep on making selfie videos," this person wrote, adding that Dr. Nesheiwat's job "will be one of a spokesperson." "It's an awesome compromise for a throwaway position. Focus on more important things." Another argued that Dr. Nesheiwat and everyone else who pushed COVID crimes against humanity should be punished, not appointed to Trump's cabinet. "Dr. Nesheiwat and all the other medical professionals who performed 'Kabuki Theatre' on television to push the dangerously false narrative about the safety of the vaxx will be footnotes in this historical record. None of these people should be rewarded with positions in the coming Trump Administration." The latest news about Trump's second term in the White House can be found at Trump.news.
