According to filmmaker Michael Moore,
outgoing President Joe Biden is pushing America toward World War III with his continued approval of arms packages to Ukraine.
The far-left director of "Bowling for Columbine" and "Fahrenheit 9/11" fame
leveled this accusation against Biden in an open letter on his website. He remarked that Biden's legacy would be one where he further destabilizes the world and foments conflict.
"Instead of using your precious little time left to do something to help the American people, your first action after Trump won was to fast-track the delivery of over $6 billion in weapons to Ukraine," Moore wrote. "Then, you called up [Ukrainian President Volodymyr] Zelensky and gave him the green light to start firing long-range ballistic missiles into a country with a massive amount of nuclear weapons – Russia."
He continued: "Then, as if that weren't enough carnage for one week, you authorized the use of antipersonnel land mines in Russia. Land mines? Seriously? This is your legacy? This is how you want to go out, in a blaze of horror? Like, if Joe's [going to] go, we all [got to] go with him … right into WWIII?"(Related:

According to Moore, the United States has spent a billion dollars in efforts to remove landmines from war-torn places such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. Those countries are "the places we invade and then leave our landmines behind." Moore also noted that even though the Vietnam War finished almost 50 years ago, "kids today in Southeast Asia are still getting their arms blown off by [American] landmines."
Moore also slams Biden's stance on Israel
Moore has an ax to grind with President-elect Donald Trump, as evidenced by his documentaries "Michael Moore in TrumpLand" and "Fahrenheit 11/9." However, his vitriol also extends to Biden – most especially his stance on Israel.
The director condemned the outgoing administration's opposition to 19 U.S. senators who moved to block arms shipments to Israel. The outgoing president's team smeared these senators, all of them Biden's fellow Democrats, as supporters of Hamas.
Moore also expressed disapproval of Washington's decision to obstruct the United Nations' call for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
"America once again single-handedly blocked the ceasefire," he remarked. "The only country speaking out in favor of more death and destruction was the one you and I are citizens of."
He likewise denounced Biden's refusal to endorse the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The ICC also issued warrants against former Israeli Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant and Mohammed Deif, leader of Hamas' military wing Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, who is presumed dead.
Earlier this year, the filmmaker accused Biden of supporting ethnic cleansing due to Washington's support of Tel Aviv's war against Hamas.
Moore concluded his open letter to Biden by giving the outgoing president some suggestions to follow in his last two months in office.
"Maybe you should stop arming foreign wars and leave that for the next guy," he wrote. "Maybe instead, you should focus on things that matter to Americans … [and] make some real and powerful change."
